1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Borfi Profit Engine, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Borfi is provided as a financial decision support tool for small business owners, micro entrepreneurs, and online sellers in Malaysia.
2. Free and Subscription Tiers
Core product costing, live multi channel profit estimation, and basic batch planning are available free of charge. Advanced features such as unlimited product cards and full P&L reports are subject to plan subscription terms.
3. Merchant Responsibility
While Borfi continuously updates marketplace fee rules (Shopee, Grab, Foodpanda, TikTok) and SST tax rates, actual settlements depend on your individual merchant contract tier. You are responsible for finalizing your store prices.
4. Modifications to Service
Borfi reserves the right to modify or update calculation formulas to reflect updated Malaysian statutory regulations, tax rates, or delivery partner fee structures.
5. Earnings and Profit Disclaimer
5.1No Guarantee of Financial Results or Profit Generation
Borfi provides cost estimation tools, product pricing models, and marketplace margin calculations strictly for informational and decision support purposes. Under no circumstances do we guarantee, promise, or warrant that using Borfi software will 100% generate business profit, increase revenues, secure commercial success, or prevent business losses. Your actual financial results depend entirely on external factors including consumer market demand, product quality, sales channel performance, operational costs, customer marketing, and your independent business management.
5.2Informational and Mathematical Estimations Only
All outputs, financial projections, estimated net payouts, and profit margin percentages displayed on Borfi are algorithmic mathematical estimations based on data entered by the user and public platform fee default rates. Borfi does not warrant that mathematical estimations will reflect your final merchant bank payouts or tax liabilities with complete precision. Users are solely responsible for verifying their own supplier invoices, marketplace settlement statements, and accounting records.
5.3Not Licensed Financial, Tax, or Accounting Advice
The services, analytics, and calculations provided by Borfi do not constitute licensed financial advice, professional accounting services, tax consulting, or legal counsel. Nothing contained on the platform should be interpreted as financial advice. Users should consult a qualified accountant, certified tax professional, or financial advisor before making significant business investments or pricing decisions.
5.4User Responsibility for Data Input and Cost Variations
Accuracy of calculation outputs depends entirely on the accuracy of the raw material prices, package quantities, labor expenses, packaging costs, and channel fee overrides entered by the user. Borfi assumes zero liability for business losses, miscalculated retail prices, or profit erosion resulting from inaccurate data entry, supplier cost fluctuations, unannounced marketplace fee changes, or unreported shipping subsidies.
5.5Assumption of Risk and Commercial Decision Independence
By using Borfi, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that running a business involves inherent commercial risks. You assume total responsibility for setting retail prices, negotiating supplier terms, managing inventory, and operating your business. Borfi, its founders, developers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or monetary damages arising from your business operations or pricing decisions.
5.6Historical Data and Future Performance Disclaimer
Any historical profit trends, sample pricing templates, or platform fee benchmarks shown on Borfi are provided for illustrative purposes only and must not be considered guarantees of future business performance. Past business performance or sample calculations do not predict future financial earnings.
